I will be using this blog to keep you all informed on my work and travels during my current trip to Nicaragua. I will be on the Island of Ometepe, Nicaragua from June 22 - July 21, 2008. Hello, SueEllen!
I hope all is going well with this summer's journey. I think often of our trip last year, especially when my screensaver goes to the slideshow of all the photos. I am looking forward to hearing about the trip.
I've been busy this summer with staff development and part time summer school teaching. Oh, and my older son is getting married in 2 weeks. Even with a low key wedding, there are lots of things to prepare. And getting ready for all of that family coming into town. It will be fun, mostly...!

Great to hear from you! Congratulations on the wedding plans. I can't believe the summer has come and is leaving. I am looking forward to Lilburn Middle and being back in the classroom. My assignment is 7th grade math/ESOL support. I am going to love it. My Nicaraguan trip was amazing as always, however, I really missed have my playmates with me as I did in Guatemala last year. Keep us in your thoughts as we plan for summer 2009. I am opening the opportunities for Nicaragua and if Maria is game, Guatmala too.
