The Primary School of Madroñal is located in the small village of Madroñal between the villages of Santa Cruz and Balgue (see map below). Agriculture and farming sustain families that earn monthly around $30.00. This school serves around 200 students, pre-school through sixth grade, ranging from 3 to 16 years of age. Seven teachers from near and far have dedicated their lives to the education of these children. TALICA celebrates with these professionals as we work toward creating learning environments that will ensure access and opportunity for a quality basic education.
